Meet The Team
Robin Johnson
Role:Â Children’s Ministry Director
Educational Background: Early Childhood Education Western Kentucky University | Biblical Studies Charis Bible College
Minstry Focus: My heart is deeply drawn to the intricate dynamics within families, recognizing how each member contributes to the wholeness of the family unit. I am dedicated to supporting and guiding parents as they navigate their roles in today’s ever-evolving society. Understanding that children are the cornerstone of family life, I believe in nurturing them with love, setting healthy boundaries, instilling discipline, and leading by example. I am driven by my deep love for children. My mission is to empower and support parents in nurturing their children according to the Word of God. I am passionately committed to helping families cultivate the next generation, endeavoring to provide young minds with biblical truths and tools to flourish and make meaningful contributions to our future.”
Personal Bio: My affection for children began in my youth, as I became the most sought-after babysitter in our small community. This fondness persisted as I pursued studies in education at the local university. It was further affirmed when I started my own family, deepening my love for children and eventually leading me to establish Robin’s Nest Christian Academy, where I dedicated thirty-one years to developing young minds. Now, I carry that same passion to Linked Up Church Children’s Church. In my leisure time, I cherish spending time with my grandchildren and engaging in a game of tennis.

Minstry Focus: Our goal is for the children to learn to worship God, know His love for them and gain an understanding of their purpose and value in Christ. Our prayer is that through the understanding of His love, their lives will be eternally transformed in a safe environment. Our purpose can be found in the Ephesians 3:17-18.
Personal Bio: I have always had a love for children and helping them find their God given purpose. I truly enjoy laughing and having fun. I love to watch movies, go for walks and spend time with my family.
