Hearing the Word with Understanding Week 2
Hearing from God goes far beyond passive reading or attendance — true transformation happens when we approach Scripture with focus, reverence, and a hunger for understanding, just as the people did in Nehemiah 8. The key insight is that knowledge informs, but understanding transforms, and the SOAP method (Scripture, Observation, Application, Prayer) offers a practical path from passive reading to active, personal encounter with God’s Word. It’s not about how much Bible we consume, but how deeply it takes root and bears fruit in how we live.
