Offense Part Two
This teaching explores how offense — creeping in through unmet expectations and perceived wrongs — can derail even devoted believers, as seen in John the Baptist’s shift from bold faith to doubt while imprisoned. Holding onto offense ultimately harms only ourselves, like drinking poison and expecting someone else to get sick. Choosing to walk in forgiveness and refuse to rehearse past hurts protects our hearts, preserves relationships, and positions us to receive God’s fullest blessings.
