Weapons of Mass Distraction Pt. 1
This sermon teaches that spiritual warfare is less about obvious attacks and more about subtle distractions envy, unforgiveness, stubbornness, complacency, and complaining that pull believers away from walking in love. Drawing on 2 Timothy 2:3-4 and James 3:16, the message warns that suppressing negative reactions isn’t the same as truly surrendering to God, and that jealousy in particular opens the door to confusion and every evil work. Believers are called to keep their focus fixed solely on glorifying God, responding to others’ offenses or successes with compassion rather than retaliation, knowing that victory is already secured through Christ.
