The Word is the Power Week 2
This message calls believers to let the Bible truly shape them rather than just possess it, pointing to Hebrews 4:12’s description of God’s Word as living and powerful, and to Jesus’ use of “It is written” to defeat temptation as a model of deeply internalized truth. It argues that the truth we know becomes the freedom we experience—so a lack of freedom in areas like health, finances, or relationships reveals either ignorance of or disobedience to God’s Word. Comparing spiritual hunger to a baby’s instinctive craving for milk, it presents appetite for Scripture as evidence of spiritual health and invites listeners into a forty-day journey of transformation.
