Better Together
In Acts 2:42-47, the early church reveals that spiritual growth, while personal, was never meant to be private — the Greek word koinonia (fellowship) points to deep intimacy and shared purpose, not casual socializing. Three thousand new believers immediately formed a genuine, committed community where the Word gave them truth and relationships gave them the space to live that truth out. Community isn’t a supplement to faith; according to God’s design from the very beginning of the church, it is central to it.
