Finance Manager

Finance Manager

Linked UP Church is seeking a Finance Dept. Manager with a heart for ministry and a head for financial precision. This role is a vital part of our Accounting Department, helping steward the resources that fuel our vision to connect people to God, family, purpose, and community.

What You’ll Do

As a Finance Manager, you’ll be instrumental in managing daily accounting functions, preparing financial reports, and creating innovative solutions for data integration and analysis. You will play a key role in shaping the church’s financial health and supporting ministry initiatives through smart, faith-filled stewardship.

Primary Responsibilities include:

  • Performing daily accounting operations and managing data entry
  • Processing and recording various contributions
  • Assisting with budget creation and consolidation of financial data
  • Developing financial models and custom reports
  • Integrating data from multiple sources for comprehensive reporting
  • Using SQL to maintain and improve financial database systems
  • Supporting the implementation and enhancement of financial policies

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience in accounting functions and financial reporting in the non-profit sector
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, Word, and database applications
  • High acumen for learning accounting and management software such as Shelby, ACS, PCO, etc.
  • Working knowledge of SQL for querying databases and designing reports
  • Keen problem-solving ability and attention to detail
  • Excellent time management and interpersonal communication skills

Education, Development, & Training Minister

Location: Powder Springs, GA

Position Summary

Linked UP Church is seeking an experienced and people-focused Human Resources Professional to lead and support the daily operations of our Human Resources function. This role is responsible for cultivating a healthy workplace culture while ensuring excellence in employee relations, compliance, recruiting, onboarding, benefits administration, and organizational support.

The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, trusted leader, organized problem-solver, and culture champion who is passionate about helping people thrive while advancing the mission of the church.

Key Responsibilities

Human Resources Operations

  • Oversee and support all major Human Resources functions excluding payroll
  • Manage recruiting, hiring, onboarding, benefits administration, employee relations, performance support, and compliance
  • Conduct orientations and exit interviews
  • Maintain HR records, systems, and documentation with confidentiality and accuracy
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state labor laws and employment practices

Leadership & Employee Support

  • Partner with leadership and department managers to support staff development and workplace culture
  • Provide guidance and solutions regarding employee relations matters
  • Assist in developing and improving HR policies, procedures, and best practices
  • Maintain awareness of industry trends and employment legislation

Organizational Excellence

  • Help cultivate a positive, healthy, and mission-driven work environment
  • Support operational efficiency through strong organization and communication

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of Human Resources experience, or if no degree, 4+ years of experience required
  • SHRM certification required
  • Working knowledge of general Human Resources modules excluding payroll
  • Strong understanding of labor practices and employment compliance
  • Experience in a non-profit or ministry environment is preferred
  • Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Proven ability to manage priorities, solve problems, and work collaboratively across teams
  • Experience with ADP PEO platform preferred

Linked UP Church is seeking a detail-oriented, people-focused Lead Accountant to oversee the daily operations of our accounting office. This role is key to ensuring financial accuracy, integrity, and excellence, helping us steward resources well as we connect people to God, family, purpose, and community.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting Operations

  • Lead and manage day-to-day accounting department functions
  • Reconcile bank and credit card statements
  • Review invoices, purchase requests, and financial documents for accuracy
  • Process accounts payable and track financial activity
  • Assist with annual audit preparation and execution

Financial Reporting & Systems

  • Develop and maintain accounting systems and processes
  • Analyze financial statements and reports
  • Ensure accurate recording of contributions and financial data
  • Support implementation of financial policies and procedures

Stewardship & Collaboration

  • Oversee and secure the collection of giving during services
  • Collaborate with staff across departments to support ministry needs
  • Assist with event registrations and occasional onboarding support

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and accounting systems
