Where do I locate the digital booklet
It can be located on the Linked UP Church app, the Connect 40 webpage or in the resources tab of your group.
Where can I pick up a physical copy of the booklet?
The H.O.S.T. packet is being given out after each Sunday morning worship center at Connect Central and/or Connect 40 tables after each service (8am, 10am, 12pm).
If I am joining a group, do I need to pick up a book?
No. All H.O.S.T. will pick up booklets for their participants.
How many times a week am I expected to meet with my group?
Once a week
What material am I expected to discuss in my community group meeting?
The information in the Connect 40 booklet. One lesson per week. Feel free to reference Pastor Gregory’s Sunday Morning message as well.
Who can I invite to my Community group?
Anyone you feel comfortable hosting, co-workers, family members, friends, neighbors.
Can someone who is not a member of Linked UP attend my Community group?
Yes. All are welcome if you are comfortable hosting them.
Am I able to H.O.S.T. my group online?
We encourage all groups to meet in person. However, we know this is not possible in every case. Yes, H.O.S.T.ing your group online would be great. In some cases, some people have hybrid groups – in person and online.
I’m new to H.O.S.T.ing a Community group…how should I start the meeting?
Welcome everyone and thank them for coming. Open in prayer – maybe even a song if the group feels comfortable…an icebreaker would work as well. Whatever works for your group – but prayer is a priority and essential.
I found out about Connect 40 late…can I still be a part of this small group journey?
Absolutely. Go to the Linked UP app or the website and register today. If you have any further questions, you can reach out to connectgroups@linkedupchurch.com.
I am interested in switching groups…is this, okay?
No problem. Have a conversation with the current H.O.S.T. about leaving the group or just exit the group. It shouldn’t be a problem.
