Linked UP officially began with its grand opening service at the West End 7th Day Adventist building in Atlanta in January 2014. The excitement was immediately evident, with the parking lot and streets packed, and people standing in line, confirming that one service was insufficient.
In 2015, the church expanded its office footprint to Wylie Road in Marietta, Georgia, which helped the community gel and provided a space for smaller services, and small groups. Following this, the ministry adopted a “One Church in Two Locations” model to serve its new members in southwest Atlanta and its original base in the West Cobb area at the Marietta Performing Arts Center (M.P.A.C).
The end of the mobile era was financed by a long-term strategy of operating the church on only 50% of its income, which allowed us to save and eventually purchase property DEBT FREE. This period of stability culminated with the grand opening of the Brownsville location on October 26, 2018, finally providing the congregation with a stable place to call home.
For the last 8 years, Linked UP Church has been transforming lives and serving as an integral part of the Powder Springs community. We’ve touched thousands through faithful ministry and genuine connection, becoming a place where families find hope and neighbors become family. Now, we have purchased a property at 5790 Powder Springs Dallas Road in December of 2024. We’re asking you to join us in raising $5.4 million to own the asset before construction begins. This new space will enable us to reach far more people and deepen our impact for generations to come. Together, we can build a home that serves our growing community.
