These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the text messaging (SMS/MMS) program offered by Linked UP Church (“Linked UP Church,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By opting in to receive text messages from us, you agree to these Terms.
1. PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
Through our text messaging program, Linked UP Church sends messages such as:
– Service & event reminders: upcoming services, gatherings, registrations, and schedule changes.
– Prayer line & pastoral care: responses to prayer requests and pastoral follow-up communications.
– General announcements: news, updates, and information from the church and its ministries.
2. HOW TO OPT IN
You can join our text messaging program by texting the keyword LINKEDUP to 94000, by submitting your mobile number through one of our forms, or by providing your number and giving consent during a church or ministry sign-up.
By opting in, you consent to receive recurring automated text messages from Linked UP Church at the mobile number you provided. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of attending, joining, or participating in any Linked UP Church service, event, or ministry.
3. MESSAGE FREQUENCY
Message frequency varies based on the messages you have opted in to receive. On average you can expect 2–4 messages per month.
4. MESSAGE & DATA RATES
Message and data rates may apply. These charges come from your mobile carrier, not from Linked UP Church, and depend on your individual plan. Please contact your wireless provider for details about your messaging and data charges.
5. OPTING OUT
You can cancel at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. After you send STOP, we will send you a confirmation message and then stop sending text messages to that number. You will no longer receive messages from us unless you opt in again. If you opted in to more than one type of message, replying STOP ends all of them.
6. GETTING HELP

7. ELIGIBILITY
You must be at least 18 years old to subscribe to our text messaging program on your own behalf. If you are under 18, you may only opt in with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian. By opting in, you confirm that you are the account holder for the mobile number provided or that you have the account holder’s permission to enroll that number.
8. PRIVACY
We respect your privacy. The mobile information and phone numbers we collect for this program are used solely to operate and improve our text messaging communications. We do not sell your mobile information, and we do not share your phone number or text-messaging opt-in data with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes.

9. CARRIERS & DELIVERY
Text messages are delivered through your mobile carrier and are not guaranteed. Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Linked UP Church is not responsible for any delays, failures, or errors in message delivery caused by your carrier, device, or network conditions.
10. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Your continued participation in the text messaging program after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
